As the Manager of Regulatory Affairs, you will lead a team of professionals working with FDA, EPA, Domestic and International Regulatory bodies to secure registrations for introduction and expansion of new and existing products. You will function as direct liaison with FDA/CVM and interact with our R&D departments in formulating regulatory strategies and assemble dossiers for submission in the US and abroad. The successful candidate will have PhD/DVM and significant regulatory affairs experience, preferably with animal health products (will consider BS / MS degrees with excellent regulatory experience).

The primary role of this position is to lead our veterinary services department with an emphasis on supporting new product launches, life-cycle management activities, technical transfers, technical message development & alignment, and interface with our research & development, technical services, regulatory, business development, and regional operations groups as well as communication agencies/vendors. Ideal candidate will possess: - a DVM (MBA is a plus)
- At least 5-8 yrs of experience in animal health field, high degree of technical/science knowledge (swine, cattle, poultry), global livestock experience a definite plus.
- Excellent communication/presentation skills (key in technical transfer of info pertaining to pre-launch / launch activities and communicating technical info in \\\"user friendly\\\" manner).
- Proven leadership skills that will enable candidate to influence discovery, development, and colleagues and make a difference.
- Candidate will also be innovative, customer focused (internal and external), and able to work effectively in team structure with cross-functional colleagues.

We are a global animal health products company looking for a Director of Regulatory Affairs to lead our regulatory department. The position serves as the principal company liaison with the Center for Veterinary Medicine (CVM) of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regarding approval of new pharmaceutical product applications and supplements thereto and the registration of new and the maintenance of existing Animal Health pesticides, respectively. The position is responsible for regulatory strategy, tactics, and direction to new product development in preparation of submission documents, responses to queries by regulatory authorities and setting and developing processes to improve performance perpetually meeting the changing regulatory environment. The position provides the Regulatory Affairs staff with the guidance, resources and materials to accomplish new product approvals and changes to existing products. Ph.D., DVM, MS or equivalent, 10 years direct experience in Medical Research, Clinical, Regulatory Affairs or other critical areas within the veterinary pharmaceutical industry preferred. The individual must have expert knowledge of all appropriate regulations especially as they apply to pre-clinical and clinical disciplines to support filings.
