Clinical Development Pharmaceutical Veterinarian - Midwest [20.Sep.2005]

We are looking for a DVM with extensive clinical experience to join our clinical development team. Duties Include: - Lead role in specific clinical development projects and studies including protocol design; identification of investigators; initiation, conduct, and completion of pivotal studies; data collection, analysis, and reporting
- Serve as clinical expert and/or as Leader of multidisciplinary product development project teams including scientists in formulations, analytical, regulatory affairs, manufacturing, quality assurance, and sales and marketing
- Lead specific pharmaceutical development projects as both clinical development expert and as project leader accountable for overall project progress through final completion leading to NADA’s and successful product launch
- Provide direction to both internal and contract clinical research associates for study monitoring, data collection, and for meeting regulatory compliance requirements
- Develop and maintain clinical expertise in the application of our proprietary drugs primarily in companion animals in therapeutic areas of cardiovascular, musculoskeletal/pain management, respiratory, gastrointestinal/equine colic, chemotherapy of neoplasia, and sedation/anesthesia
- Serve as a technical leader and as a clinical expert for new company drugs & as technical liaison to leading private and university clinicians and to FDA/CVM in concert with Regulatory Affairs
- Provide project updates, recommendations, and risk analysis/contingency plans to R&D and global company Leadership

Regulatory Affairs Manager - northern plains US [20.Sep.2005]

We are looking for a Regulatory Affairs Manager who will be responsible for regulatory review of our animal vaccine products. You will liaison with US FDA, EPA, USDA and other Domestic and International Regulatory bodies to secure registrations for introduction and expansion of new and existing products. Your responsibilities will include development and implementation of regulatory strategy on assigned projects.
The successful candidate will have 5-10 years regulatory experience with a consumer company, including interfacing with governmental agencies and extensive knowledge of US FDA regulations working with or for the U.S. FDA/CVM in getting new companion animal products approved. You must possess experience with FDA/CVM submissions including INADA and NADA submissions. Experience with Canadian or international dossier strategies a plus. Knowledge of FDA/CVM regulations and requirements is a must. The successful candidate needs to have strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with a multi-disciplinary new product team. The ability to think both strategically and tactically and a strong record of accomplishment is essential. A Bachelor Degree in Food Science or related field is required.
